WHEN PROPERLY IDENTIFIED YOU SENT THE TIPM TO MY MECHANIC. HE INSTALLED IT AND THE OLD TIPM WAS SENT BACK TO YOU. MY CAR HAS A VMI AUTOMATIC IN FLOOR MOBILITY RAMP WHICH I DEPEND ON TO GET IN AND OUT OF THE CAR. EVERYTHING TESTED FINE AT THE MECHANIC AFTER THE REPLACEMENT TIPM WAS INSTALLED. THE CAR WAS BROUGHT HOME [ABOUT 15 MILES] AND PUT IN THE GARAGE. A FEW DAYS LATER THE CAR WAS TAKEN OUT OF THE GARAGE AND THE RAMP WOULD NOT DEPLOY. THERE IS ONLY ONE VMI SPECIALIST IN THIS REGION AND THEY ARE VERY BUSY. IT GETS TO BE A VERY LONG STORY AND THE RAMP STILL DOES NOT WORK/ IT MIGHT ONLY BE A FUSE THAT CONTROLS THE RAMP CIRCUIT AND RAMP MOTOR.
EVERYTHING WORKED FINE AND ONE DAY A FEW WEEKS AGO NO A/C. AT THAT TIME I KNEW NOTHING ABOUT THE TIPM BUT I HAVE LEARNED IT HAD ABOUT 35 VARIOUS FUSES CONTROLLING MOST EVERTHING INCLUDING THE A/C [#34 ? ] AND THAT WAS ALL THAT WAS WRONG. EXCHANGING THE TIPM WAS TIME CONSUMING AND EXPENSIVE AND MAY HAVE LED TO THE RAMP PROBLEM. THE MAJOR REASON I HAVE THAT CAR IS FOR THE RAMP AND NOW I AM VIRTUALLY STRANDED DESPITE THE VMI FAIL SAFE RAMP SYSTEM.
