After 4 weeks of having my new TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module, also recognized as THE FUSE BOX) from GoECM installed in my 2013 Grand Caravan, I am very pleased. I already knew my integrated fuel pump relay was shot. I actually purchased a small, reasonably priced, by-pass for just the fuel pump relay. But, alas, the MOPAR TIPM only has a short lifetime. More issues popped up, my back gate kept opening up on it's own (even after checking both key fobs), my cruise control not responding until the buttons are pressed quite a few times after starting in the morning, and PARTICULARLY a transmission issue that had persisted for over a year finally threw a code about miscommunication between the TIPM and the TCM (Transmission Control Module).
So far the new TIPM from GoECM has fixed two of the most important problems with my 2013 Grand Caravan; after 4 weeks, I have not had a single issue with the fuel pump and, more importantly, the transmission/communications issues with the transmission have not again presented themselves. I blame MOPAR for the other issues, but my back hatch/gate still opens with no button press (I've again pulled the fuse for the gate) and my cruise control is still slow to respond to button presses at a cold restart.
I want to thank Karla Montoya specifically for checking in with me about my order, delivery, and answering all the questions I had. I sent my old TIPM back to receive the Core Refund, but hadn't heard back about the status (though with the enclosed UPS shipping label, I already knew the Grand Prairie location had received it). Karla answered my email immediately. GoECM processes TIPMS on the 15th of every month, so yes I did have to wait, but I received my Core Refund right away on the 15th of the month.
Purchasing such a large ticket item (for me) online from a manufacturer I didn't know was QUITE stressful. But I am still very satisfied with my TIPM purchase. Karla Montoya was a big part of making me feel like a comfortable customer. 4 weeks in, the new TIPM didn't fix the cruise control or the back gate, but it did fix the TWO BIGGEST issues I was having with my old TIPM.
